Welcome to Imaginati. Your privacy and data security are extremely important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Imaginati ("the App"), how we use that information, and with whom we share it.
By downloading and using our App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Our App is designed to provide an anonymous experience. We do not collect traditional personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number. The information we collect is as follows:
Information You Provide:
- Text Prompts for AI Image Generation: The text commands you enter to generate AI-powered images.
- Uploaded Images for AI Image Editing: The images you upload to the app for editing. The handling of these images is detailed below.
Information Collected Automatically:
- Anonymous User ID: When you use the App, you are assigned a unique, anonymous identifier. This ID allows us to associate your purchases and remaining credits with your account without linking to your real-world identity.
- Purchase Information: We use RevenueCat to manage your credit purchases. Confirmation of your purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, along with the product purchased, is relayed to us via RevenueCat. We do not see or store your credit card information or other sensitive payment details.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
To Provide the App's Services:
- To process the text prompts you enter to generate AI images.
- To edit the images you upload.
To Manage Transactions: To link the credits you purchase to your anonymous user ID and track your usage.
To Improve the App: To analyze anonymous usage data to identify bugs, enhance performance, and improve the overall user experience.
3. How We Share Information & Third-Party Services
To provide our services, we work with trusted third-party service providers. Your data is shared as follows:
- fal.ai: AI image generation and editing processes are performed through this service. For this purpose, your text prompts and the temporary URLs of the images you upload for editing are sent to fal.ai. You can access fal.ai's privacy policy on their website.
- Supabase: Images you upload for the editing feature are temporarily hosted on the Supabase cloud storage service during the processing period. This storage is necessary to send the image to the fal.ai service via a secure URL. Importantly: Immediately after the editing process is complete and the result is delivered to you, the original image you uploaded is permanently deleted from Supabase servers.
- RevenueCat: Used to manage in-app purchases and credit management. Your anonymous user ID and transaction information are shared with RevenueCat to validate your purchase.
These service providers are required to protect your data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
4. Data Security and Retention
We take reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect your data. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Image Retention: As stated above, images uploaded for editing are stored only temporarily during the transaction and are deleted immediately upon completion.
Other Data: Your anonymous user ID and associated purchase history are retained as long as we need them to provide services to you.
5. Handling of User-Uploaded Images and Face Data
While our app, Imaginati, does not specifically request, collect, or analyze "face data" as a distinct data type, we recognize that users may upload images for editing that contain human faces. Our policy for handling such images is as follows:
Purpose of Use: Any user-uploaded image, whether it contains a face or not, is used solely for the purpose of performing the AI editing task initiated and requested by the user. We do not use this data for user identification, authentication, analytics, advertising, or any other purpose.
Third-Party Sharing and Storage: To perform the editing task, the user-uploaded image is temporarily stored on Supabase to generate a secure URL. This URL is then passed to our third-party AI service provider (Google AI) for processing.
Data Retention: We are committed to protecting user privacy. The original, user-uploaded image is permanently deleted from our Supabase storage immediately after the AI editing process is complete and the result is delivered to the user. We do not retain any user-uploaded images or any face data derived from them on our servers.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make any changes, we will post the new policy on this page and change the "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about any changes.
